Volunteering
We offer volunteering opportunities for professionals who wish to lend their hand at giving advice or training within our organisation. There are many exciting job opportunities with the Brave Foundation organisation. We rely on trained dedicated professionals to carry our business forward. As we cover a large area of subject matters, we need a dynamic work force that is equipped to deal with whatever comes their way. As the organisation grows, so will our workforce and therefore we offer great opportunities to further your career path. The types of people who we feel are ideal for volunteering positions are those working or studying law, psychologists and students of psychology. People working in the social sciences are also welcome. This can include social workers and youth workers. All volunteers will be asked to commit to at least 6 months working for the organisation. Each volunteer’s contribution will be based on an individual basis and working from home will be permitted upon discussion. All volunteers will be required to carry out a full-enhanced CRB check.
Internships
Brave Foundation is a great place to gain experience for up and coming policy makers or those interested in social work, social policy, psychology and law. Undergraduate students who wish to gain knowledge and work in a fast paced and professional environment are also welcome to apply for suitable positions to enhance their learning.
Employment
As we are an organisation who champion the rights of people who face injustice, we seek to employ people who have been unemployed for a substantial amount of time, disabled people who’s opportunities are limited due to their circumstances and people who have retired but feel that they have more to give. We are also interested in individuals whose prospects would otherwise be limited due to past convictions, homelessness and legal issues. We are an equal rights employer and wish to give people who have been margnalised a chance to get back to work and contribute to society.
